We pray for those in our community whose lives are muddled. We are all precious to you, Lord, and know that you work patiently in our lives to 'untangle' the 'knots'. May we have patience too with those we encounter.... to listen to them and to be a witness to your love for us.
We pray for the elderly Lord, we thank you for all they have contributed to our families, community and Country. We pray for strength and peace as they handle the tougher aspects of being older, May each one of us love them as you would till you call them home,
Father we are so grateful for our freedoms in this country and especially as COVID eases. We pray that the disease will not hamper preparations for the Queens Jubilee and that this occasion will do much to bring us together as a Nation and as a local community.
Jesus, we give thanks for a number of blessed meetings this week, including the start of our new course 'The Wellbeing Journey'. Bless us as we seek to discover whose we are in order to discover who we are.
We give thanks that the Churches Together group met yesterday evening for the first time in two years. We pray that we may continue to build relationships together within the Church Family in Lytchett Matravers (CFiLM), sharing together in fellowship, worship and mission.
Heavenly Father, we pray for Ryan and Rachel, who were married at St Mary's this afternoon in a really joyful and blessed ceremony. Lord, may they know your presence and peace as they begin their married lives together.
