Lord please open the eyes of those with much to the struggles of those with little, in all places, but especially the places where people are voiceless and unseen. Give these people hope in you as you speak into the hearts of others who have the means to help.

We seek to live a better life, please guide our way.

Thank you God for your grace in calling your people to partner with you. Raise hope throughout the church in Australia, that you are at work in the world today — show us how to be light in the darkness, messengers of your hope, joyful bearers of your good news!

Lord, I thank you for the eternal hope that is in you, for the light that is not overcome by darkness, and for your promise to be ever faithful. In the places where there is struggle and conflict, I ask for your peace.

We thank you Lord for the hope that has come to Bangladesh and ask you to bring good government. That minority groups, including Tearfund partners are respected. That the new leaders work to improve the lives especially of the poor and not seek to benefit themselves.

For Tearfund's partners and the communities that they live in and work with - thank you, Father, for the privilege of what it means to partner with them. Please provide for their needs, bless their work and make it fruitful so many lives will be truly transformed.
